Donaldsons dairy

Even though the book uses clauses and big gaps between words to help the readers, this reader mispronounced ‘Scarface claw’ by saying ‘scareface claw’, this is common mistake as she thought of the word scary.

Overview
In the transcript containg Evie and her Grandma it is clear that the Grandma has a strong effect and influence on the child, we can see this by Evie being comfortable enough to take risks in order to develop her language, her Grandma uses Skinner’s Positive and Negative reinforcement to encourage Evie and help her. Grandma uses child directed speech with Evie which shows her guiding Evie’s speech development. Also, the fact that Evie has taken these risks is a showing that soon enough she will be able to show other good charateristics.
